What is Mah Jongg??
Mah Jongg is an ancient tile game that originated in China in the eighteenth century, but is now played in many countries. It was introduced into the United States in the 1920's and was a favorite pastime during the depression years. Many variations of the game are played but this group uses the rules of the National Mah Jongg League, Inc. This league issues a card yearly that offers many possibilities to complete Mah Jongg plus official rules. What is Mah Jongg??
